About

Chris Nickels is a husband, a father, a cancer survivor, a Mennonite pastor, a comic book collector, and a passionate Philly sports fan. “Mennonite Road” is both an actual road where he lives and a metaphor for his faith journey: after growing up and serving as a pastor in the Reformed tradition, he eventually came to a strong appreciation for Anabaptist theology and connected with the Mennonite Church (USA). In this space he writes about theology, spiritual formation, and experiences from the road he now travels with the Mennonite community.

The views expressed here are his own and may not necessarily reflect those of the congregation he serves.

Chris also blogs as part of the group formation:community, focusing on spiritual formation and creativity in small congregations.

He is also proud to be one of the MennoNerds.

Thanks for visiting!
