Greg Boyd on Biblical Interpretation

June 9, 2010

I had to share this video clip from the BioLogos Foundation. My faith experience was very similar to Boyd’s, including having my theological “house of cards” (thankfully) challenged during my college experience.

Chris, Good point by Greg Boyd. Yes, before I came to accept evolution (though of course second hand, through reading and trying to understand something of that) I long ago wanted to defend the premise that Christians can indeed differ in belief in origins, yet still be faithful to Scripture. Well put by Boyd. Thanks for sharing this.

Ted, thanks so much for your comment. I liked Greg’s points as well. I actually felt like he summed up 16 years of my life in a 2 min clip! I’m really enjoying these BioLogos videos (I’ve watched Pete Enns, Tom Wright, John Walton as well). Speaking of origins..have you read Walton’s “The Lost World of Genesis One”? I’m finding it fascinating.
